Lighthouse Home & Property Inspection Services is licensed to perform home inspections in Tennessee and Alabama. All home inspections are performed in accordance with the Standards of Practice required by the state in which the property is located. Inspections conducted in Tennessee follow the Tennessee Standards of Practice, while inspections conducted in Alabama follow the Alabama Standards of Practice.
As an InterNACHI® Certified Master Inspector®, I also follow the InterNACHI® Home Inspection Standards of Practice when those standards supplement and do not conflict with applicable state requirements. The applicable state Standards of Practice establish the minimum required scope of the inspection. If a difference exists between a state requirement and another published standard, the laws and regulations of the state in which the property is located will control.
